Happy New Year!
We have a new website! I got tired of dealing with the quirks of the last theme so I just built my own. This will be an incentive to post more and actually make it look like I care about this label.

Half Hearted Hero – Defining. Refining.
Farewell Party Records is pleased to welcome Half Hearted Hero to the team. Effective immediately we have launched Half Hearted Hero’s debut full length Defining. Refining. for sale on vinyl and cassette. The first pressing is limited to just 280 copies and can be purchased from our online store. We will be releasing new Half Hearted Hero material later this year.
To your right you will see a fancy music player that is streaming the album, courtesy of Suburban Home Records and Vinyl Collective. Take a listen, then take a buy!

ANNOUNCING FPR-005: Half Hearted Hero – Summer 2008 Demo

We are extremely excited to finally announce that HALF HEARTED HERO have found a new home with us here at farewell party records. To celebrate today we are officially RE-RELEASING their three song SUMMER 08 DEMO. You can pick it up here for free or a donation if you so chose! We have also made an EXTREMELY LIMITED (21 copies) of this Summer 08 Demo on cassette, you can pick it up here.
Half Hearted Hero will be releasing their debut full length DEFINING. REFINING. on vinyl via farewell party at the end of the summer. We can happily say that this is one of the best full lengths we have heard in a long time. SO GOOD we don’t want you to wait to long for vinyl so our friends at Set Sail Records are releasing the CD on June 1st here in the US and Fast Life Records in Japan.
We will be heading back into this studio this summer to do some special mixing for vinyl. Trust us. It’s worth the wait. If you enjoy the Summer 08 Demo at all, you will LOVE the full length!
